Theft: The night video drop box was broken into at Hollywood Video, 5225 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A partner in business stole money and inventory from DJ's Pub, 4903 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: A Yamaha four-wheeler was stolen from the 900 block of N. Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: A window was broken out and a cooler taken from a vehicle parked at the Cracker Barrel.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was scratched in the residential 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.
Aug. 2
Theft: The lock was pulled on a vehicle, and a CD player was stolen from The Mill's parking lot, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: The lock was pulled from the passenger door, and a CD player was stolen from a vehicle at the Wedgewood Plaza,1739 S. Raccoon Road.
Breaking and entering: A fenced yard was entered and a bicycle stolen in the residential 4000 block of New Road.
Theft: Police arrested a man after he pumped gas and failed to pay for it at Sheetz, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A 2000 Honda four-wheeler was stolen from the 1000 block of North Meridian Road.
Warrant: A male suspect was arrested on charges of drug abuse in the residential 100 block of N. Roanoke Ave.
Theft: A Stihl weedeater was stolen from McDonald's, 1150 N.
Canfield-Niles Road.
Illegal solicitation: A summons was issued for the arrest of a man for illegal solicitation on Cider Mill Crossing.
Theft: Two Ohio license plates were stolen from vehicles at the Cracker Barrel.
Assault: Police arrested a man and charged him with assault at BW-3, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Money was reported taken from a checking account in the residential 6900 block of Slippery Rock Drive.
Theft: CDs were taken from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Cumberland St.
Theft: A CD player was taken from an auto in the 3000 block of Riblett Road.
Theft: Fuel was reported taken from Country Fair, 1143 N.

Cruelty to animals: The Mahoning County dog warden took one of two dogs found in the back yard of a home in the 100 block of Court Street into custody. Complaints from two addresses about a barking dog at the address was responded to by police. Officers found one dog on a one-foot chain, with fly bites and droplets of blood on him, standing in his own feces and without food or water. A second dog was found on a longer leash, with food and water. Any charges will be made by the dog warden.
Drug Abuse/drug paraphernalia: A 21-year-old Fort Campbell, Ky., man was charged with drug abuse, marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a black marijuana board with black printed marijuana leaves, suspected marijuana residue, a mint tin containing suspected marijuana and two blunts in his car.
Other traffic charges were also brought against the man.
