Elizabeth Brown to be bride of William Sweeney

The engagement of Elizabeth Ann Brown, 21215 Mastick Road, Fairview Park, and Dr. William Sweeney Jr., 9629 Fernwood, Olmsted Falls, is announced by the bride-to-be's parents, Janet Yockey of Lexington and George Brown of Mansfield.
Parents of the prospective groom are Dr. William and Marjorie Sweeney, 271 Chapel Lane, Canfield.
Miss Brown graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor's degree in speech and hearing science and from OSU College of Dentistry with a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. She is a dental hygienist for Dr. Christopher Marter of Lakewood.
Dr. Sweeney graduated with a bachelor's degree in business from John Carroll University in Cleveland and from OSU College of Dentistry with a doctor of dental surgery degree. He also graduated from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and did a general-practice residency. Dr. Sweeney is in private practice in the Cleveland area.
The couple will be married in a ceremony planned for 2 p.m. Sept. 7 at St. Mary's of the Falls Church in Olmsted. A late-afternoon reception is planned at Columbia Mills Country Club in Columbia Station. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and reception.
