Woman charged with resisting



GIRARD -- A 39-year-old Liberty woman faces four charges after a run-in with police early today.
Sonia G. Coney, of Naylor-Lloyd Road, was charged today in Girard Municipal Court with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and failure to comply with a police order.
She has also been summoned in Niles Municipal Court on a theft charge.
Girard police stopped the car in which she was a passenger on Hancock Avenue about 1 a.m..
Police reported that Coney got out of the passenger's side, pulled the male driver out of the car and attempted to drive off.
Police got hold of the car keys and it took two officers to handcuff her.
She is being held in county jail pending an arraignment today in Girard court.
