TED STRICKLAND*
Age: 60.

Employment: Congressman.
Education: A Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky; a master of divinity degree from Asbury Seminary; a master's degree from the University of Kentucky; a bachelor's degree from Asbury College.
Family: Wife, Frances.
PRIORITY: To provide a national prescription drug plan for seniors and to develop an affordable and accessible health-care system for those who need it. To work for a broad-based energy policy that allows the nation to be less dependent on foreign sources.
LOU A. D'APOLITO
Age: 58.
Home: 5750 Lockwood Blvd., Boardman.
Employment: Attorney.
Education: A law degree from the University of Akron Law School; a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University.
Family: Wife, Paula; a son.
Priority: To bring federal money to the district and to provide a national prescription-drug plan for seniors.
CHARLES BROWN
Age: 52.
Home: 904 Market St., Yorkville.
Employment: Regional vice president of Prepaid Legal Services.
Education: A Smithfield High School graduate.
Family: Wife, Joyce; four children.
Priority: To reform Social Security and improve the medical benefits of veterans.
