Wal-Mart cruise offers

Wal-Mart cruise offers
In what must be a milestone in the transformation of cruising from elite to mass-market transportation, discounter Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has begun selling cruises on the Internet at www.walmart.com. (Click on "Wal-Mart Vacations.")
It's promising to refund the difference if you can find a better deal for the Carnival, Costa, Cunard, Holland America, Seabourn or Windstar cruises it sells.
Pack your identification
When you show up at your next hotel stop, be ready to show your photo ID.
In the aftermath of Sept. 11, several U.S. hotel chains are requiring identification at check-in. You may also be required to show IDs and room keys before boarding elevators.
Starwood Hotels, which include Sheratons and Westins, now have ID requirements, as do St. Regis and many Hiltons. Marriott International has instituted other security measures at many hotels, including increased foot patrols and required valet parking with proof of stay.
