Markel-Hopper engagement is made known

CORTLAND -- The engagement of Danielle Renee Markel and Patrick Ian Hopper is being announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John D. Markel of Cortland.
Mr. Hopper is a son of Sue Hopper and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hopper, all of Newark.
Miss Markel is a cum laude graduate of Bowling Green State University with a bachelor's degree in education. She is employed by Trumbull Academy in Warren.
Her fiance also graduated cum laude from BGSU with a bachelor's degree in education. He is employed at New Albany Middle School.
The couple will be married in July at Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren, and a reception will be held at DiVieste's Banquet Hall, also in Warren. Invitations will be extended.
