Eaton Group GMAC Real Estate has received the National GM Family First Referral Award for ranking second out of 1,200 GMAC real estate offices nationwide for Family First referrals. Family First gives cash back to General Motors employees, their family members and other who qualify when they buy or sell property through Eaton Group GMAC. Randy Rodrigues, GMAC vice president of Family First Alliance Group, presented the award last week. Eaton Group GMAC Real Estate has offices in Howland, Boardman, Hubbard, Middlefield and Cortland. Local offices assisted 283 clients with relocation in the Mahoning County area in 2001, according to relocation director Jayne Gregory, resulting in a sales total of more than $26.2 million.
AUSTINTOWN -- Caribbean Pools & amp; Hot Tubs on Mahoning Avenue in Austintown is listed among the top 100 businesses in the spa and pool industry in the April issue of AQUA, the business magazine for spa and pool professionals. AQUA has been recognizing excellence in spa and pool construction, sales and service for 13 years.
A panel of judges who critiqued the businesses on their customer service, product knowledge, store design, quality craftsmanship and advertising selected 52 companies, which joined 48 others in the AQUA Hall of Fame. Winners represent 23 states and range from single-store family operations to large chains.
LIBERTY -- Maxmillan Peleschi of Creative Photography by Maxmillan on Belmont Avenue, Liberty Township, has been named a Certified Professional Photographer by the Certified Professional Photographers of Ohio.
NORTH JACKSON -- Leonard Truck & amp; Trailer Inc. ranked No. 1 in the Northeastern Region at the CM Trailers National Dealer Convention, based on a ranking of annual sales by the company's 100 dealers. The dealership, located on a new, 30-acre complex at 12800 Leonard Parkway in North Jackson, won two Montana Silversmiths trophy belt buckles and a plaque. CM Trailers is a horse, stock, cargo, auto and utility trailer manufacturer based in Madill, Okla.
