YOUNGSTOWN -- Married at 1 p.m. April 20 at Youngstown Baptist Church were Darlene Susan Chaney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Chaney Jr., 6105 Carter St., Hubbard, and David Richard Sherwood, 3520 Darbyshire Drive, Canfield. Mr. Sherwood is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sherwood, 6070 Deer Spring Run, Canfield.
The Rev. Jerry Hart officiated, and a reception was held at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Fort Meyers, Fla., and are living at the groom's address.
A white satin A-line gown was worn by the bride. It was detailed with cutout lace and beading on the scoop neckline, short sleeves and cathedral train.
Wendy Dragich of Girard was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Debbie Brienik of Bradenton, Fla., the groom's sister, and Suzzane Smith of Columbus, the bride's cousin. They wore purple gowns.
Best man was Don Sherwood of Canfield, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were Robert Sherwood of Youngstown, his cousin, and the bride's brother, John Chaney III of Hubbard. Junior groomsmen were the bride's nephews, Joshua, Zachary and Adam Chaney, all of Hubbard.
Mrs. Sherwood attended Youngstown State University and is a licensed practical nurse at Austinwoods Rehabilitation Health Care Center.
Her husband also attended YSU. He is an assembler at Lear Corp. in Lordstown.
