County commissioners awarded community development grants Thursday for these projects:
Berlin Township, $54,291: Paving 2.04 miles of Berlin Station Road from Duck Creek Road westward.
Boardman Township, $72,388: Storm-water retention system on Lockwood Boulevard.
Campbell, $54,291: Upgrading traffic signals on Struthers-Liberty Road and Sanderson Avenue. Also storm water culvert structural rehabilitation on Wilson Avenue.
Canfield Township, $217,164: New salt dome and addition to fire station.
Craig Beach, $54,291: Sidewalk project.
Poland Township, $72,388: Anti-skid paving on Quarry Road.
Poland Village, $72,388: Restroom facilities at Fireman's Field, street paving and property acquisition.
Sebring, $108,582: Downtown revitalization project.
Springfield Township, $108,582: Design costs for sanitary line extension to benefit 180 households in Petersburg.
Struthers, $54,291: Paving Garfield Street between Elm Street and Midlothian Boulevard.
Youngstown, $217,164: Annual sidewalk, curbing project.
