Stephenses celebrate 50th at luncheon



BANDON, Ore. -- Mr. and Mrs. John J. Stephens of 88502 Agate Lane, formerly of Youngstown, were honored April 7 at a luncheon at St. Maron Church
Hosts and hostess were the couple's sons and daughter-in-law, Nick and Lisa Stephens of Bronxville, N.Y., and John Stephens Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M. Their other daughter-in-law, Linda Stephens of Albuquerque, was unable to attend. Two grandsons complete their family.
Mr. Stephens and the former Anna Louise Roberts were married Sept. 3, 1951, at St. Maron Church in Youngstown, where they are members.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1945-49 and retired in 1991 as president and chief executive officer of Roseburg Forest Products in Roseburg, Ore. He is a member of the Society of American Foresters, Kiwanis, Cystic Fibrosis Association and Bandon Dunes Golf Club.
Mrs. Stephens is a homemaker and belongs to the Canfield Garden Club, Kiwanis, Cystic Fibrosis Association and the Bandon Dunes Golf Club.
