POLAND -- Todd M. Bury, an investment professional with Franklin Financial Services, has been named a member of Putnam Investment's 29th annual Golden Scale Council. The council includes investment professionals who have met the highest standards in serving investors during the past year.
WARREN -- Mickey Wilson, chief executive officer of Greater Warren Community Federal Credit Union, was the recipient of the credit union's first Mickey Wilson Spirit of Giving Award which the board named in her honor. The award will be presented every two years to one of the credit union's 13,000 members who best exhibits the spirit of giving. Wilson sits on the national board of directors of the Credit Union Executive Society and is in her 25th year at the Greater Warren Community FCU.
PULASKI, Pa. -- Young Galvanizing Inc. has received awards from the American Galvanizers Association in Denver for its work on PNC Park in Pittsburgh and for a project it did with Wegco Welding of Pittsburgh. Young Galvanizing was presented two Excellence in Galvanizing awards and was the only company to receive more than one award this year. The company processed about seven miles of tubular steel, more than 750,000 pounds, for Pittsburgh's new ballpark, and helped produce snowmaking towers used by Seven Springs and other ski resorts worldwide.
