BOARDMAN -- Good Hope Lutheran Church was the setting at 4:30 p.m. March 9 as the Rev. Robert Quaintance officiated for the wedding of Catherine Bosley and Richard Brown, both of Boardman.
Alice and Ronald Bosley of Ashtabula are the bride's parents, and the groom is a son of the late Helen and Lee Brown, who had lived in Boardman.
A reception was held at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Key West, Fla. They are living in Boardman.
The bride wore a strapless gown designed with a beaded and sequined bodice and full taffeta skirt that flowed to a cathedral train. Her mother fashioned her veil.
Erin Ascione was maid of honor, and matron of honor was Susan Cizmadia. They wore lavender gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Laura and Jennifer Brown and Tricia Perry. Madeline Cizmadia was flower girl.
The duties of best man were performed by Jack Bosley, and groomsmen were Paul Sunderlin, Dave Koning, Joe Meyers and Carmen McGarry.
Also participating were Michele Gatts and Carolyn Reich.
A graduate of Kent State University with a degree in telecommunications, the bride is an anchor/reporter with WKBN-TV in Youngstown.
Mr. Brown holds a degree in business administration from Youngstown State University and is the owner of Quality Concrete Inc. in Youngstown.
