Helping the homeless
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Mahoning County Continuum of Care, a coalition of individuals and organizations dedicated to serving homeless people, seeks proposals from agencies wishing to help the homeless.
Proposals are being sought for housing with supportive services, legal services, outreach to homeless people on the streets, transportation, job training, child care and medical services.
The services are to be provided under a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development SuperNova grant dedicated to services for the homeless.
