Under legislation being considered by city council, a storm water drainage fee would be applied to residential, commercial and industrial property owners. The monthly fee schedule:
Residential
2002: $2.50
2003: $2.60
2004: $2.70
2005: $2.81
2006: $2.92
Commercial, Industrial and Public (a building or structure primarily used by general public) fees per unit of area:

*Light: The unit is an area that will typically accommodate up to 15 vehicles.
**Medium: The unit will typically accommodate 16 to 60 vehicles.
***Heavy: The unit will typically accommodate more than 60 vehicles.
A storm water board will review rates and make recommendations in 2007 and subsequent years.
