LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements



CANFIELD -- John Morvay, owner of J.D. Morvay Insurance and Financial Services in Canfield, has completed classes and testing to qualify for the Certified Senior Advisor designation administered by the Colorado-based Society of Certified Senior Advisors. The certification indicates he has acquired expertise on the insurance and financial needs of senior citizens. A Boardman High School graduate, Morvay has an associate degree in business management from Youngstown State University and holds licenses in health insurance and securities. He lives in Canfield.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Garry L. Mrozek, senior vice president and senior lending officer for National City Bank, has been elected to the board of trustees for the Industrial Information Institute for Education Inc. Mrozek will be an at-large trustee for the nonprofit educational organization, beginning immediately. He manages a nine-county region for National City that includes Youngstown, Akron, Canton, the Ohio Valley and northern West Virginia. Mrozek earned a bachelor's degree in business administration management and a master's in business administration, both from Youngstown State University. A New Castle, Pa., native, he lives in Poland.
WARREN -- Schaefer Equipment of Warren, a manufacturer of forged foundation brake components, has earned the TTX Excellent Supplier Award for the 11th consecutive year. The award is given by the TTX Company, formerly known as the Trailer Train Co., to recognize suppliers making a continued commitment to improving product excellence and customer satisfaction. To encourage continued improvement, TTX has raised its award standards every year since its inception in 1991.
