YOUNGSTOWN -- The Community Mobilization Committee will sponsor a political forum in Tabernacle Baptist Church at 707 Arlington St. at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Candidates for Mahoning County commissioner, the 60th Ohio House District, the 33rd Ohio Senate District and the 17th Congressional District were invited to speak.
Pipe bomb on car
CAMPBELL -- Police are seeking information about who may have attached a pipe bomb to the tail pipe of a woman's car.
The woman discovered the bomb on her 1997 Pontiac Grand Am around 9 a.m. Friday in the driveway of her Third Street home.
She told police she hasn't had a problem with anyone and has no idea who could have put the bomb on her car.
It took about two hours for the Youngstown Bomb Squad to remove the device.
