AMBER BLAND
School: Boardman.
Grade: Sophomore.
Positive influence: My parents: mom -- she was always there for the good times and the bad times to say something inspirational. Dad -- he was the person that kept me going, and they always believed in me.
Best memory: The Magnificat game. Senior night/overtime win.
Future: Go to college directly after high school and get my degree in pediatric physical therapy.
ASHLEY ARMSTRONG
School: West Branch.
Grade: Sophomore.
Positive influence: My dad -- Brian Armstrong -- he is always, always positive. When I am having a bad day, week or game of basketball, he always just has encouraging ideas and pointers.
Best memory: My best memory was beating Salem in the sectional finals. Salem had knocked West Branch out the previous year, and it was a big goal to get to the next level.
Future: Play AAU, work all summer, attend as many camps as possible. Long-range, play college basketball and see where it takes me.
JULIE BELL
School: Sharon.
Grade: Senior.
Positive influence: My grandfather who has passed away. He has been an influence because he always pushed me to play, and he wanted me to love the sport as much as him.
Best memory: When Sharon Lady Tigers came back to win a league game against Grove City from a 21-0 point down to win by 7.
Future: I will be attending West Virginia Wesleyan College to fulfill my basketball career. I will major in communications.
COURTNEY DAVIDSON
School: Ursuline.
Grade: Sophomore.
Positive influence: My parents; they do so much for me. I appreciate them sacrificing important things in their life for me. I thank God for placing them in my life.
Best memory: The Fitch game at Fitch. We were down by three and senior Cathie Walsh hit a three to tie the game with 1.9 seconds on the clock. We won in overtime.
Future: I plan to go to college and further my career in basketball as well as get an education.
JESSICA DEVILLE
School: Leetonia.
Grade: Sophomore.
Positive influence: My dad. -- all of my accomplishments have been made possible through him. He's my biggest fan and behind me every step of the way.
Best memory: My best memories are winning districts and advancing to the regional finals.
Future: I hope to advance as far as we have in the last two years, next year. In the future. I plan on playing basketball in college.
AIESHYA DIXON
School: Mooney.
Grade: Junior.
Positive influence: A person who has been a positive influence in my life and my athletic career has been my mother. She has been a driving force in my life since before I could remember. I think without my mother in my life I would not be the person I am today.
Best memory: When I recorded my first career triple-doulbe this seasons was a stepping stone for me.
Future: Graduate from high school and earn my degree in physical therapy. A few of my long-range plans are to be a successful figure to my family, friends, community and myself.
MARIANNE KREZECZOWSKI
School: Howland.
Grade: Senior.
Positive influence: My father Walter has influenced me my whole basketball career. He taught me all the fundamentals of the game. He was the one who took extra time out of his life to take me places or just to take me out to practice. He was the one on the sideline yelling my name, telling me what I can do to improve. He pushed me to play my best.
Best memory: Winning the MAC, becoming district and sectional champs. Being able to be part of an excellent winning program. Having the opportunity to be a teammate to some of the best players in the area. I was coached by a well-experienced coaching staff that heled me throughout the year.
Future: I don't have secure plans right now on where I will be attending, but I do plan on going to college and major in electrial engineering.
LEANNE MADDEN
School: Kennedy Catholic.
Grade: Senior.
Positive influence: My parents because they have instilled a superior work ethic in me and have always supported me in anything I do.
Best memory: Winning District 10 and developing a strong bond with my fellow senior teammates and the rest of the team.
Future: Duquesne University, majoring in athletic training.
JENNIFER MARAVOLA
School: Girard.
Grade: Junior.
Positive influence: My sister Jill because she wasn't the greatest athlete but had the heart of a champion. She is always there for me and she never gives up in anything she does.
Best memory: Winning the TAC championship at our home court with over a 1,000 fans in attendance.
Future: I plan to attend a four-year college and either play basketball or run track. I want to major in physical therapy and minor in journalism, and I would love to coach at the high school level for basketball and maybe even at the college level.
ERIN MARTIN
School: Canfield.
Grade: Senior.
Positive influence: Parents provided much needed guidance and endless coaching and are always there for me.
Best memory: Don't have one specific memory but enjoyed being able to lead and teach younger players and make really good friends.
Future: Play basketball for Cleveland State. Pursue a college degree and hopefully advanced degree in industrial psychology.
DARCY QUINLAN
School: Howland.
Year: Junior.
Best memory: There are so many things that happened this year that stick out in my mind, but I have to say winning our second straight MAC title and our second straight district title were the greatest. Our team also went 22-3 for the second season in a row.
ASHLEE RUSSO
School: Boardman.
Grade: Senior.
Positive influence: My coach Ron Moschella has been such a positive influence in my athletic career because he has taught me so much about teamwork, dedication and setting high personal goals. I have learned so much from him, and I thank him for shaping me into the player and person that I am today.
Best memory: One of the best memories from the season is when we beat Ursuline for the second time to win the Steel Valley Conference. It's always a big game between Boardman and Ursuline, so it was a great feeling when we won the SVC championship against them.
Future: I plan on playing basketball at Youngstown State next year while studying to become an engineer.
CRYSTAL SCHULER
School: South Range.
Grade: Senior.
Positive influence: My grandma because no matter what I played, she always supported me and always saw me as the best. With her confidence in me, I gained confidence in myself and played with that.
Best memory: My best memory was winning the ICL on senior parent night for our last game at home.
Future: Attend Mount Union or Baldwin-Wallace and get a degree. I am undecided on a major, but I hope to just be happy in whatever I do.
CHERRELL TRIPLETT
School: The Rayen School.
Grade: Senior.
Positive influence: My coach. She has always been there for me. She pushed me to try harder and to do my best.
Best memory: Playing and having a great time with my younger teammates.
Future: I plan to go to college to play basketball and I guess the rest will just fall into place.

Positive influence: Frank Beck, my high school coach; Boardman superintendent and former coach Richard Selby, who guided me and gave me the right direction; former Boardman coach Al Burns, someone who I learned a lot off, and Boardman athletic director Jim Fox, who taught me his hard work ethics.
Best memory of last season: There was not really one shining moment that stood out, but just seeing this team get better from start to finish as young as they were.
Future: Hopefully I'll be coaching at Boardman again next season, beyond that you just have to wait and see what opportunites arise.
