Parents announce Lucas-Pondillo engagement

AUSTINTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lucas, 205 S. Main St., and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Pondillo, 6444 Ridgeview Ave., announce the engagement of their children, Amanda Lucas of the Main Street address, and Andrew Pondillo of the Ridgeview Avenue address.
Miss Lucas is attending Youngstown State University and will graduate this spring with a bachelor's degree in education. She is a caregiver at Iron and String Life Enhancement in Youngstown.
Mr. Pondillo earned an associate degree in criminal justice at YSU. He is a deputy sheriff with Mahoning County Sheriff's Department.
Invitations will be issued for the couple's wedding to take place at 2 p.m. July 20 at Canfield Presbyterian Church. An evening reception, also by invitation, will be held at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.
