Carvell-Hagerty wedding plans are announced

YOUNGSTOWN -- The engagement of Nicole Marie Carvell, a daughter of Mervin and Michele Carvell, 1775 Basil Ave., and Jason Aaron Hagerty, a son of James and Joann Hagerty, 1609 Second St., is being announced by the couple's parents.
Miss Carvell, a waitress at Perkins Restaurant in Boardman, is attending Youngstown State University where she is pursuing a degree in special education.
Mr. Hagerty will graduate in May from YSU with a degree in history. He is an insurance agent with Kernan Nationwide Insurance.
The couple will be married during an open ceremony at 2 p.m. July 13 at St. Christine Church. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.
