BANKING
YOUNGSTOWN -- Metropolitan National Bank has promoted Peter J. Asimakopoulos to senior vice president/senior commercial lender and named Alberta Fusselman to senior vice president/branch administration.
A Boardman resident, Asimakopoulos has been with Metropolitan for 17 years, had worked in the commercial lending department for 10 years and had been a vice president/senior lender. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University and is studying at the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Fusselman has more than 19 years of banking experience and had been a vice president branch manager/branch administration. As branch manager of the Austintown branch, she is also responsible for new business development and overall branch operations. She lives in Austintown.
NEW CASTLE -- Sky Bank has promoted Michael L. Mancuso to financial center manager and vice president in New Castle. The former assistant vice president and Struthers Financial Center manager, he has been with Sky since 1997. He lives in New Bedford, Pa.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
YOUNGSTOWN -- Leadership Mahoning Valley has appointed Girard native Heather Belgin as associate director, working with executive director Susan Moorer. Belgin has a bachelor's degree in communication from Clarion University and had worked in the admissions departments at Clarion and at Thiel College.
HEALTH CARE
CLEVELAND -- Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield has appointed Chip Palazzo as public relations manager for Northern Ohio and Sheri Lawrence as public relations specialist.
Palazzo has 15 years of experience in public relations, media relations and corporate communications and had been a public relations specialist at Firelands Community Hospital Corp. in Sandusky. He has a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University.
Lawrence is a University of Akron graduate and had worked with the American Diabetes Association as district manager in Southeastern Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
PRINTING
WARREN -- Dan Lautner has joined Superior Printing Co. of Warren as a sales representative in its Akron-Canton area sales office. Lautner comes to the company from Danner Press in Canton, and he also worked for MGA Printing in Florida for 10 years. He will be covering the Akron, Canton, Alliance, Cleveland and Columbus markets.
MANUFACTURING
YOUNGSTOWN -- John Kukura, a Youngstown native, has joined Tindall Corp.'s Spartanburg, S.C. Prestress Division as plant manager. He has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degrees in business administration, both from Youngstown State University. He came to the company from Mueller Electric Co. in Cleveland, where he was general manager of operations. Tindall makes precast and prestressed concrete products.
TELEMARKETING
AUSTINTOWN - Elena Cook has joined InfoCision Management Corp. as a program supervisor at the company's Austintown call center. Cook comes to InfoCision from Sea World Cleveland. A North Jackson resident, she has a bachelor's degree in mass media from Mount Union College.
