Williamses will mark anniversary during vacation

BESSEMER, Pa. -- Mr. and Mrs. George Williams of 540 S. Main St., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 12 during a family vacation to Las Vegas.
Arrangements for the event are being made by the couple's children and their spouses, Lou Anne and Lee Sheehan of Bessemer; Sandy and Ray Ryan of Dysart, Pa.; Melanie and James Vitale of Maui, Hawaii; and Tom and Terri Williams of Poland. Thirteen grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Williams and the former Mary Lou Montgomery were married Oct. 12, 1951, at Bessemer Presbyterian Church, where they are members. He served with the military police and retired in 1984 from B & amp;O Railroad, where he was an engineer. He belongs to the Rod and Gun Club in Bessemer and to Club South.
His wife retired in 1989 from Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital, where she worked as a payroll clerk. She is a member of Bessemer Women's Club, American Legion Auxiliary and the Mohawk Bowling League.
