AUSTINTOWN -- A honeymoon in the Poconos followed the wedding of Wendy Michelle Pilak and Kenneth Russell Ferguson, both of 1627 Woodland Ave. N.W., Canton, that took place Sept. 1 at Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Gary Koerth presided at the 1 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mike and Linda Pilak, 172 Fair Meadow Drive, and the son of Carl and Carolyn Ferguson, 9485 River Styx Road, Wadsworth.
A reception was held afterward in the church hall.
Fashioned with spaghetti straps, the bride's A-line gown was enhanced with pearls and sequins and featured a soft organza overlay. Her fingertip veil was gathered to a jeweled crown designed by her aunt.
Red gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Rebecca Pilak, and the bridesmaids, Jennifer Kagarise, Melanie Vohovick, Adrienne Cvetkovic, Elizabeth Lewis, Autumn McGuire and Sarah Wyglendowski.
Kevin Bianchi served as best man, and groomsmen were Daniel Spillman, Benjamin Gemmell, Branden Mast, Bob Giovia, Jim Malone and Charlie Warino.
The bride graduated from Malone College in Canton with a bachelor's degree in Bible theology. She is a fund development coordinator with Regina Health Center in Richfield.
The groom, an interim preacher at Calvin Presbyterian Church in Canton, is attending Malone College.
The couple live in Canton.
