The Boyers mark 50th anniversary during dinner

AUSTINTOWN -- A buffet dinner took place Sept. 29 at Colonial Catering in Canfield to honor Mr. and Mrs. William Boyer, 305 Dehoff Drive, for the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Arrangements for the event were made by the honorees' daughters and son-in-law, Dr. Sharon Boyer of Senoia, Ga.; Sue Boyer of Austintown; and Kelli and Richard DeSantis of North Kingsville.
The former Pat Elder and Mr. Boyer were married Sept. 29, 1951, at Mahoning Methodist Church, Youngstown, where they are members.
Mrs. Boyer was the co-owner of Wishing Well Flowers in Youngstown. She retired in 1980.
Mr. Boyer retired in 1992 as vice president of the Dollar Savings and Trust, Youngstown, where he was employed 25 years, and as township clerk, a position he held for 24 years. He served in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division and is a member of Scottish Rite and Hillman Lodge.
The family circle includes six grandchildren.
