NILES -- St. Stephen Church provided the setting for the Aug. 25 wedding of Lisa A. Abraham of Toledo and Richard T. Hart of Warren.
The Revs. John Gubser and Charles Pinyan officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy P. Abraham of Niles and the son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Hart of Boardman received guests during a reception at Leo's Ristorante in Howland.
After a honeymoon in the Bahamas, they live in Warren.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, graduated from Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Prior to her marriage, she was a reporter at the Toledo Blade.
The groom is president and owner of Flowers by Hart Inc., which operates Kunkel Florist and Gifts in Warren and Niles.
Seed pearls and sequins embellished the bodice and hemline of the bride's silk shantung gown styled with cap sleeves and a cathedral train. A pearl headpiece held her cathedral veil.
Julia Abraham was honor attendant for her sister, and bridesmaids were Brenda Linert, Georgea Kovanis, Trudi Coleman and Mary Ann Lickteig. They wore pink dresses. Flower girls were Emily Abraham, the bride's niece, and Brenna Weaver and Sarah Hart, nieces of the groom.
Thomas Hart performed the duties of best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Robert, Brian, Michael and Jack Hart, his brothers, and Timothy Abraham, the bride's brother. Ring bearers were Ryan Abraham, her nephew, and Colin Hart, his nephew.
