STRUTHERS -- St. Nicholas Church was the setting at 2 p.m. Sept. 8 as Krista Nardella, 2371 Lyon Blvd., Poland, and Matt White, 3451 Bentwillow Lane, Youngstown, were united in marriage by the Rev. Philip Rogers.
A reception was held at St. Nicholas Hall to honor the daughter of Thomas and Carol Nardella of the Poland address, and the son of M. Jean White, Rosemont Road, and Mervin White, Bailey Road, both in North Jackson.
The bride's sleeveless Italian satin gown was enhanced with Alencon lace and featured a princess waistline, full tulle skirt and a chapel train.
Mauve gowns were worn by Vicki Jupp, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Karla Stocker and Michelle Goodin, sisters of the bride, and Karen Robinson.
Best man was Michael Robinson, and groomsmen were the groom's brothers, Martin, Michael and Mark White. Also participating were the bride's brother, Dominic Nardella, and her nephews, Tyler and Trent Stocker and J.P. Goodin.
The bride graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in English and linguistics and a master's in English. She is a marketing coordinator with Armstrong Cable Services in North Lima.
The groom, a certified public accountant and director of budget with Humility of Mary Health Partners in Youngstown, graduated cum laude from YSU with a bachelor's in accounting and a master's in business administration.
The couple honeymooned at Coronado Island, Calif., and live at the groom's address.
