WARREN -- The wedding of Kendra Mardel Blake and Jason Frederick Leeworthy, both of 961 Line Road, Cameron, N.C., took place Aug. 26 at First Baptist Church.
The Rev. James F. Baer presided at the ceremony, and a reception was held in honor of the couple at Gardenbrook Banquet Center, Cortland.
Afterward the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Boston.
They live in Cameron.
Parents of the bride are Carol J. Blake, 415 Meadowbrook Ave., and Michael E. Blake, 4120 Chevelle Drive.
The groom is a son of Carolyn Leeworthy, 210 Belmont Ave., and James Leeworthy, 2182 High St., Champion.
The bride, a graphic designer with North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C., graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in graphic design.
Her husband is a sergeant first class in the U.S. Army stationed with the 3-505 Para Infantry Regiment at Fort Bragg, N.C.
The bride wore an ivory chiffon and Chantilly lace sheath gown enhanced with pearls and sequins. It featured short sleeves, a gently scooped neckline and a godet flair at the hemline. A chiffon watteau train added back interest.
Midnight-blue gowns were worn by Gina DeCaria of Chicago, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaid, Kate Athanas of Warren.
Michael Haley of Colorado performed the duties of best man, and groomsman was Christopher Moore of North Carolina.
