Trustees Monday approved the following:
UPurchase of storage drawers for a Ford Excursion truck used by the fire department from Truck Vault of Sedro-Woolley, Wash., for $1,464.
UPurchase of eight 2002 Ford Crown Victorias for the police department from Planet Ford of Centerville through a state purchasing program at a combined cost of $161,368.
UNo parking restrictions on the west side of West Boulevard, between Golfview Road and Crestview Drive, opposite West Boulevard Elementary School.
USale of an 1989 Ford Windstar formerly used in the D.A.R.E. program to New Middletown for $900.

The board Monday:
UHired Sonya Lucius, assistant to the treasurer, $24,000 a year; Donald Castner, custodian at Reed Middle School, $11.89 an hour; Julianne Carsone, head swimming coach, $4,025; Greg Filipski, junior varsity swimming coach, $2,725; Cliff Merritt, diving coach, $929; Karen Hinkle and Patricia Pitoscia, educational aides, $9.69 an hour.
UContracted with Valuation Engineers for $5,845, for a fixed asset appraisal to update information for insurance evaluation purposes and with the School of Autism of Potential Development Program of Youngstown for the special education of one student. No cost was given.
UApproved an advance payback to the general fund of $15,985 from Title I and Title VI-R.
UApproved an advance of $15,000 to the athletic fund from the general fund, to be repaid in Jan. 2002.
UAccepted a donation of an $800 sound system from Hubbard Music for the track and soccer complex and a donation of framed artwork from Carol and Liz Swartz for the superintendent's office. No value was given.
UApproved June 2 as graduation date at the high school gym.
