Residents report theft of two American flags
POLAND -- Two American flags were stolen from one village neighborhood between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 17 and 7:15 a.m. Sept. 18. According to police reports, the owner of one of the flags discovered it had been removed from the flagpole in front of his Venloe Drive residence early in the morning of Sept. 18. He noticed that the flag that had hung on his neighbor's porch across the street was also missing and notified the homeowner there. The flags were last seen in place around 10:30 p.m. Sept. 17.
