BAZAARS
XBristolville United Methodist Church, Routes 45 and 88, will hold its annual fall bazaar at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. A roast beef dinner will be available from 4 to 6:30 p.m. with meals priced at $6 for adults, $2.50 for children 6-12 and 75 cents for children under 6. Carryouts also will be available.
CARD/BINGO PARTIES
XNorth Sewickley Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will sponsor a card party Oct. 4 at the fire hall, Route 65 near Beaver Falls, Pa. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and a dinner will be served at 7. CARNIVALS
XThe Seventh Arch Council of Ohio will sponsor a carnival at the Ali Baba Grotto, Perkins-Jones Road, Warren, Thursday through Sunday. Gates open at 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $3 for adults and $1.50 for children; those under 10 are free. There will be amusement rides and a food booth. CRAFT SHOWS
XGreater Girard Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a craft show and farmers market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on Liberty Street, between State and Market Street. Featured will be such things as farm produce, ceramics, quilts, crafts and face painting.

XChrist Church Presbyterian will hold the annual Pumpkin Fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 6 on the church grounds, 1933 Canfield Road, Youngstown. Pumpkins, apples, cider, chrysanthemums, homemade baked goods, jellies and candies will be sold in the outdoor market. There will be pony rides and games.
