Shannon Sculli, David Weimer are engaged

CANFIELD -- Announced by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Sculli Jr., 4532 Alderwood Drive, is the engagement of their daughter, Shannon M. Sculli, 3433 Clifton Ave., Cincinnati, and David Weimer, 3407 Clifton Ave., Cincinnati.
Parents of the future groom are Mr. and Mrs. William S. Weimer, 2401 Sierra Drive, Youngstown.
Miss Sculli, a special education teacher in Cincinnati, graduated from Youngstown State University with degrees in special and elementary education.
Mr. Weimer graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., with a bachelor's degree and earned a master's in physical therapy from D'Youville College in Buffalo, N.Y. He is completing his final year of medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
The couple will be married during an open ceremony they have planned for 2 p.m. Dec. 29 at St. Christine Church, Youngstown. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at the Avalon Inn and Resort in Howland.
