CORTLAND -- The Viets Museum, 224 N. High St., has the following special events scheduled for fall: Tuesday, Audrey Schinkel with "Bach to Broadway," on the museum grand piano; Oct. 23, Maryanne Brandt, Cleveland area antique authority, who will discuss and show patterned glass and antique jewelry; Nov. 13, Karen Corbett recreating "The Life of a Pilgrim" in costume and dialect; and Nov. 27, Nita James, floral designer, making holiday decorations and arrangements you can create at home.
All programs are at 10 a.m., and admission is $5. A continental breakfast and museum tour are included. For information, call (330) 638-3467.
Cub Scout membership
YOUNGSTOWN -- Cub Scout Pack 45 on the West Side, which is for youths in grades one through five, is looking for new members.
