Reception honors 50th anniversary of the Hunkeles

POLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Clyde A. Hunkele, 6153 Acatello Place, were guests of honor at a dinner reception Sept. 22 at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman for the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Invitations were issued by their children and their spouses, Mark and Kathy Hunkele and Daniel Hunkele, all of Boardman; Kathleen and Richard Szmara of Poland; Karl and Robin Hunkele of New Comerstown; Amy and Scott Douglass of Cleveland; and Nancy and Edward Hamrick of Cortland.
Before the reception the couple renewed their wedding vows during a Mass at Holy Family Church, where they are members.
The former Marjorie A. Bauer and Mr. Hunkele exchanged marriage vows Sept. 22, 1951, at St. Anthony Church in Millvale, Pa.
Mrs. Hunkele is a homemaker.
Retiring in 1986, Mr. Hunkele worked at Graybar Electric Co. Inc., Youngstown.
The family includes 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
