Lewis anniversary is celebrated in Columbiana

AUSTINTOWN -- A dinner party was held Sept. 22 at Das Dutch Haus Restaurant in Columbiana in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Donald J. Lewis of Austintown, who were observing their 50th wedding anniversary.
Invitations for the event were issued by the couple's children and their spouses, Donald D. and Nancy Lewis and Michael and Glaydas Lewis, all of Boardman; James A. and Jody Lewis of Leetonia; and Barbara A. and Herman Hardung of Austintown. There are 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren in the family.
The former Marcella R. Kelley and Mr. Lewis were united in marriage Sept. 24, 1951, in the town of Accident in Garrett County, Md. They are members of Trinity Fellowship Church in Youngstown and its senior citizens group.
Mrs. Lewis is a homemaker. Her husband served with the U.S. Army from 1951-53. He retired in 1985 from Republic Steel Corp. of LTV Steel Corp. in Youngstown, where he was a railroad car repairman.
