YOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Jatauna Aisha Fountain and Lance Cpl. Kenneth Kevin Cochrane Jr. took place at 4 p.m. Aug. 25 at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
The Rev. Kelvin Turner officiated for the daughter of Milton and Cheryl Fountain, 1650 Fountain Square Drive, Austintown, and the son of Kenneth Sr. and Siesta Cochrane, 359 E. Lucius Ave.
A reception followed at Willow Creek in Girard, and the couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico. They are living in San Diego.
The bride wore a white Italian satin and organza ballgown trimmed with crystals and sequins. The skirt flowed to a royal train.
Penny Wright was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Keeta Willis, Chrissy and Simone Johnson, Thometrice Fountain, Faith Bishop and Lawana Summers. They wore platinum gowns. Junior bride was Ravine Fountain, and junior flower girl was Aris Bishop. Flower girl was Taysia Johnson.
Best man was Cory Cochrane, and groomsmen were Patrick Fountain, John Bryant, Devin Johnson, Emanuel Summers and Cory Fundenburg. Junior groom was Shelton Fountain. Patrick Fountain Jr. was junior groomsman, and ring bearer was Ronald Fletcher III. Members of the U.S. Marine Corps from Youngstown served as ushers.
The bride attended Youngstown State University and was a sales associate at Kaufmann's in Boardman prior to her marriage.
Her husband is stationed with U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton in San Diego.
