BOARDMAN -- David LaRosa and his bride, the former Danielle Young, both of Boardman, honeymooned on the Hawaiian island of Maui following their wedding Sept. 1 at St. Charles Church.
The Rev. Dan Venglarik presided at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, and the couple accepted congratulations at a reception held afterward at St. Mary Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.
The daughter of Diane Bennett of Poland and Danny Young of Struthers and the son of Mr. and Mrs. John LaRosa of Austintown live in Boardman.
The bride's A-line gown was fashioned of matte satin and featured a V-neckline, a beaded lace bodice, long sleeves and a semicathedral train.
Beige and silver gowns were worn by Betsey Hillman and Chris Hufnagel, the honor attendants; the bridesmaids, Ellen Knight, Tracie McCaughtry and Lorie Cook; and the junior bridesmaids, Leah Sakacs and Maddy Giancola. Flower girl was Allie Sakacs.
Steve LaRosa served as best man, and groomsmen were Jim Bennett, Eric Wrash, Scott Morgan and Jason Bennett. Junior groomsmen were Michael Bennett and Ian Young, and ring bearer was Joey Wrask.
The bride, who graduated from Youngstown State University with an associate degree in applied sciences, and groom are paramedics with Rural/Metro Ambulance in Youngstown. The groom served with the Army National Guard, 838th Military Police Company and attended YSU.
