Animal welfare league to hold annual walk and blessing

WARREN -- The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County will hold its sixth annual Walk For Animals on Oct. 7 at the Packard Park Indoor Shelter House, Mahoning Avenue.
Registration will take place from 1 to 2 p.m., and the Rev. Tom Begert-Clark will give the traditional "Blessing of the Animals" at 2 p.m. followed by the walk.
All types of pets are welcome, and participants may walk with or without a pet. Walkers are asked to seek donations from family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. All donations are tax-deductible, and checks should be made payable to Animal Welfare League.
