BOARDMAN -- East Liverpool Dahlia and Floral Society's 76th annual dahlia show will be Saturday and Sunday at Southern Park Mall. Judging begins at 10 a.m. and award presentations will be at 1:30 p.m. both days. The society, Ohio's oldest and the eighth oldest in the nation, was organized in 1926.
Block watch meeting
YOUNGSTOWN -- The city's landlord regulation ordinance will be the topic at the meeting of the Buckeye Eyes and Ears Block Watch at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Word of Grace Church, 2724 Mount Vernon Ave. John A. Nittoli, block watch president, also will discuss why the city is not inspecting rental units regularly and what must be done to enforce the law.
