Beatitude House to sponsor scramble

LAKE MILTON -- Beatitude House will hold a four-person golf scramble Sept. 30 at Lakeside Golf Course.
Participants should call (330) 744-3145 to preregister. Registration on the day of the event will begin at 8 a.m., with the scramble to start at 9.
Cost is $60 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, a half-cart, lunch and dinner. A grand prize of a new car will be awarded to anyone getting a hole-in-one on No. 13. Cash prizes will go to the first- and second-place teams, and other prizes also will be awarded.
The event is being held to benefit the organization's programs.
This year Beatitude House marked its 10th anniversary of serving disadvantaged women and children in the Mahoning Valley. It offers families housing, support services, education and the opportunity to break out of poverty.
