Reminder for coaches and statisticians
High school coaches and statisticians are reminded of The Vindicator's sports phone lines. To report scores, dial (330) 747-1471 or 1-800-686-5199. When calling from a touch-tone phone, you will be prompted to dial 1, then the extension. The extensions for the sports department are: 291, 292, 370, 593, 594, 595 and 596. You may also fax results to (330) 747-6712. When reporting results, be sure to include first names and team records.
Football preview coming Thursday
The Vindicator's annual preseason football section will preview the teams and players for the 2002 season. The section will include features on some of the top players in the area, schedules for every team in the Mahoning and Shenango valleys, a week-by-week schedule, and radio broadcast schedule for the upcoming season.
