Carlon-Pankuch wedding date to be Oct. 19.

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Nancy and Edward Carlon, 250 Crossbow, formerly of Boardman, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Christine Marie Carlon, 5915 Bois Ile Drive, Haslett, Mich., and John Louis-Randell Pankuch, 1489 Tanforan Place, Okemos, Mich.
Parents of the future groom are John Pankuch of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Margaret Petrie of Okemos.
The bride-elect graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from Michigan State University in East Lansing, where she will begin working toward a master's degree in January. She is an account executive with Ameritech-SBC in Southfield, Mich., and an arts management consultant with Carlon and Associates in Haslett, Mich.
The prospective groom, an advisory assistant with Sutton Advisors, PLC, in Lansing, graduated from MSU with a bachelor's degree in prelaw. He will begin studies at Cooley Law School in Lansing in January.
The couple will issue invitations for their 5 p.m. Oct. 19 wedding to be held at St. Mary of the Hills Roman Catholic Church in Rochester Hills, Mich., and for their reception afterward at Mac and Ray's Harbor Club, Harrison Township, Mich.
