Both were in the World Trade Center tower that was hit first.
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- A former Grove City woman is among the missing after last week's terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York City.
Ruth Ketler, 43, who now lives in New York City, was on the top floor of the second tower struck by a hijacked airliner, said her aunt, Alice Ketler, who still lives in Grove City.
Ruth, born and raised in Grove City, graduated from Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and immediately moved to New York City, her aunt said. Her mother now lives in Florida.
Ruth, who is single, was at work when the first tower was hit and her boyfriend called her, telling her to get out of the building fast, Alice Ketler said, adding, "There wasn't time."
No one has heard from Ruth since that phone call, her aunt said.
The search effort goes on for survivors, but the prospects of finding anyone alive at this point are "not very promising," Alice Ketler said.
"She was a beautiful girl and extremely intelligent," Alice Ketler said.
Also missing: A former Sharon woman also is among the missing in the World Trade Center attack.
Rebecca Koborie, 48, of Guttenburg, N.J., was at work on the 97th floor of the first tower hit by a hijacked airliner.
No one has heard from her, and her parents, John and Julianne Koborie of Sharon, went to New York on Saturday to try to find her.
"We're going to stay there until we find her; one way or the other, we're going to bring her back," her father vowed.
