Craft show to feature farmers' market



GIRARD--The 23rd annual Greater Girard Area Chamber of Commerce Craft Show is Sept. 29. West Liberty Street, between State and Market streets, will be closed to traffic from 10 a.m to 3 p.m.
Besides the craft show, merchants will be offering special sales and civic organizations and Scouts will have items for sale.
The day also includes the yearly Farmers' Market, which started in August and is held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October in front of the old theater building on Liberty Street.
The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the craft show and will have pumpkins, apples and cornstalks, among other fresh produce.
High Pockets the clown will offer face painting and Tri Changes Salon at 5 W. Liberty St., will color hair tips, both for children at nominal fees.
Food vendors will be on hand.
