Parents announce Rutana-Filek engagement

The engagement of Melissa Rutana of Boardman and Chuck Filek, also of Boardman, is announced by the bride-to-be's parents, Heidi Nemeth of New Middletown and Mike Rutana of New Springfield, and the future groom's mother, Brenda Filek of New Middletown.
A secretary at North Coast Energy Inc. in Austintown, the bride-elect is attending Youngstown State University.
Mr. Filek is the service manager at Domestic Uniform Rental in Youngstown.
The couple will be married during a ceremony planned for 4:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Boardman. An evening reception is planned at The Embassy in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and reception.
