XUnited Local PTO, 8143 state Route 19, Hanoverton, will hold its annual craft show Dec. 1. Crafters interested in a table may call Cindy Sluss, (330) 222-2554.
FUND-RAISERS
XLa Luna Salon and local artist Sheryl O'Donnel are sponsoring a Chinese auction from Tuesday through Oct. 16 to benefit the Beatitude House. Tickets will be sold at the salon, 1315 Boardman-Canfield Road, in Pelican Plaza, Boardman. The cost is $1 for three tickets. Among items to be auctioned are 14 hand-painted birdhouses and other items. Beatitude House helps displaced women and their children. Donations and items for Beatitude House also will be accepted.
XSaxon Ladies Society will sponsor a Chinese auction at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. Proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund.
SALES
XCentral Christian Church, 44 S. Main St., Hubbard, will sponsor a rummage sale from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church. Baked goods and hot dogs will be sold.
XA trash and treasure sale will be held at Ohltown United Methodist Church, 2001 Ohltown Road, Austintown, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. There will be tools, household items, books, and miscellaneous items but no clothing. Refreshments will be available.
XSt. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will hold an apparel sale from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the center's Park Avenue entrance lobby. The public is welcome, and proceeds will benefit the guest house.
