Teen alleges man asked her to pose for nude photographs

YOUNGSTOWN -- Police are investigating a North Side couple after two teen-age girls told authorities the man offered them money to pose for nude photographs.
According to police, the man picked up a female teen-age relative and one of the girl's teen-age girlfriends from The Rayen School last Monday with the understanding that the girls would help him and his wife "fix up" their New York Avenue home.
Displayed pictures: The teen-age relative told police Friday that once the group got to the house, the man took her to an upstairs bedroom and asked if he could take nude photographs of her for himself and his wife. The girl said she refused, but the man pulled out several folders from a drawer containing photos of nude females, many of whom were under age 18, reports said.
The relative said the man also asked to have sex with her, but again she refused. She told police he then offered her $200 not to say anything about the matter to anyone and left the room.
The man's wife later took the relative home; police reports do not say how the other girl got home.
Took photos: The relative had taken three photos, all of her 18-year-old adopted sister, from the folders and later turned them over to authorities. The relative's mother told police that the 18-year-old has a learning disability and has the thinking capacity of an 11-year-old.
A female student at Choffin Career Center told police the man had offered her money to pose nude for himself and his wife several times over the summer, though she never accepted the offer. She said she has not been back to the house since the start of the new school year.Police are questioning other juveniles.
