Man faces concealed-weapon charge

BOARDMAN -- A 29-year-old Youngstown man is charged with carrying a concealed weapon after he was found with a loaded handgun while walking down Glenwood Avenue on Friday night.
Reports say the man was involved in a car accident around 4 p.m. in the Brookwood and Newport drives area. A passing motorist saw the man get out of the wrecked vehicle and put a handgun in the waistband of his pants.
Township police later ordered the man to stop and put his hands in the air. The man removed the gun, put it on the ground and was arrested.
An Arabic translator had to be called in because the man does not speak English.
