HUBBARD -- The marriage of Nicole Lynn Chovan, daughter of John and Barbara Chovan, all of 204 Maple Leaf Drive, and Richard Thomas Holland of Cuyahoga Falls, son of Judy and Ken Moss, 2419 Center Drive, Parma, was solemnized by the Rev. Tim O'Neil at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at St. Patrick Church.
The newlyweds were honored during a reception at Tiffany's Banquet Center, Brookfield, before leaving on a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They live in Cuyahoga Falls.
Mrs. Holland graduated from the University of Akron with an engineering degree. She is an engineer for the city of Akron.
A project manager with Ryan Homes in Cleveland, Mr. Holland holds a degree in architecture and design from the University of Illinois.
The bride wore a white two-piece gown of matte satin designed with an A-line skirt and chapel-length train. Tulle lace, bugle beads and crystals adorned the strapless bodice.
Twins Megan and Michelle Chovan, both of Hubbard, the bride's sisters, were honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Darlene Tarkanick, Brookfield, the bride's cousin, and Kristan Kapper of Uniontown. They wore ice-blue dresses.
Gordon Purchase of Akron performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Nick Steehler of Akron, Greg Haddox of Hartville and Brent Harris of Macedonia. Junior usher was Michael Kelley of Chagrin Falls, the cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Matthew Kelley of Chagrin Falls, also the bride's cousin.
