YOUNGSTOWN -- The Rev. Robert Ashman presided at the 10:30 a.m. ceremony at which Nancy Ann Leskovac and Michael Anthony Varchulik, both of 9100 N. Lima Road, Poland, were united in marriage Aug. 19 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.
An afternoon reception was held at The Hippodrome in Warren for the daughter of Thomas and Patricia Leskovac, 412 W. Sixth St., McDonald, and the son of Albert and Lynn Varchulik, 153 Butch Circle, Edinburg, Pa.
The couple left on a Caribbean cruise and, since returning, live in Seattle.
The bride wore a white chiffon gown with a gently flared skirt. It was enhanced with diagonal beading and featured spaghetti straps, a low draped back and a brush train.
A cranberry-red gown was worn by Amy Leskovac of Austintown, the bride's sister-in-law and honor attendant. Flower girl was the groom's niece, Gianna Ciccone of Lowellville.
The groom's father performed the duties of best man, and ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Tommy Leskovac of Austintown.
The bride, a licensed social worker, holds a degree in nutrition and social work from Youngstown State University. This fall, she will pursue a master's degree in nutritional counseling and human behavior at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Wash.
Prior to the wedding, the groom, a member of Labor Local 125, was employed at Charniga Plumbing Co., Poland. He is now employed at Barret Builders in Kirkland, Wash.
