YOUNGSTOWN -- The Chapel of Friendly Bells at Trinity United Methodist Church was the setting at 4 p.m. Aug. 18 for the wedding of Julie A. Pignanelli of Poland and Daniel O. McCown of Poland, formerly of Lakewood.
The Rev. Dr. D. Larry Kline presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Virginia and Robert Calcagni of Poland and the son of the late Joseph and Ruth McCown who had lived in Lakewood.
After a reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church hall, the couple left on a wedding cruise to the Bahamas. They live in Poland.
Serving as the honor attendant was the bride's sister, Georgina Rodgers of Atlanta. The junior bridesmaids were the bride's daughters, Gabrielle and Gina Pignanelli, who escorted their mother down the aisle.
Todd Clements of Sagamore Hills performed the duties of best man.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University and is art director and owner of Pignanelli Design.
The groom, a graduate of Kent State University, is employed in design and production management with Big Bang Experience, LLC, and with St. Anthony Productions, both based in Akron.
