Gabrieles mark 50th anniversary during reception

POLAND -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John Gabriele, 2428 Knollwood Ave., was celebrated Sept. 2 during a surprise dinner and reception that took place at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
Arrangements for the event were made by their sons and their wives, David and Lori Gabriele and Donald and Judy Gabriele, all of Boardman. There are five grandchildren in the family.
The former Teresa Barber and Mr. Gabriele were united in marriage Sept. 3, 1951, at St. Teresa Church in Morgantown, W.Va. They are members of St. Nicholas Church in Struthers, the Altar Rosary Society and the Ohio Culture Association.
Mrs. Gabriele, a homemaker, is also a member of the Catholic Daughters, the Ladies Bagnolese Club, the Opera Guild and Infant Jesus of Prague.
Mr. Gabriele served as office manager at Dollar Savings and Trust in Youngstown prior to retiring in 1988. He is a member of the Men's Bagnolese Club.
